Frostbite Race Cup
First presented by Com. Ralph D. Johnson in 1948, this award is presented to the club member's) as a challenge trophy to the club member's who win the club’s Frostbite Race conducted on the second Sunday in October, come rain, blow or snow.

Pureblood Trophy
First presented by Henry Horn in 1958, this award is presented to the club member who compiles the best overall record in the regular season competition in DRYA sponsored races.

GPSC Sportsman’s Trophy
First presented by Com. David C. Wetzel in 2001, this award is presented each year by the current commodore to the club member who has made the greatest contribution to the advancement of the sport of sailboat racing.

Perpetual Trophy

Jay Deeds Award

This Cup was first presented to Com. Jay Deeds in 2007 for his lifetime of race support to the GPSC. Each year the current Commodore will select a Club Member worthy of this honor for on the water race support.

Commodores' Cup
First presented in 2005 by Com. Glory Schappe and Com. Robert Schappe, this trophy is awarded annually to the GPSC member who, racing under the GPSC burgee, has the best corrected time on the long course of the Bayview Mackinac Race.

  Olson Trophy

This retired starting canon was first presented to Com. Edward and Barbara Olsen for their years of race management to the GPSC. They returned this award to the GPSC to be presented annually to a Race Committee Member deserving this honor for on the dock race support  .
